How many cards should I have?: Cubana in the USA responds from her experience.

"A person who is just starting and does not know about credit should ideally and most recommendably have only one card."

In response to a question from a user on the network, Cuban TikToker @yanetatlanta shared her opinion on the ideal number of credit cards she considers advisable to have.

In her video, the young woman first made a distinction between how beginners should operate in the world of credit and those with more experience. For newcomers, she did not hesitate to recommend starting with just one credit card, as, although they can be very useful tools, they can also lead to financial problems if not managed properly.

"Credit cards are a tool that can make your life easier and help a lot in this country, but they can also lead you to bankruptcy if not managed properly," he added.

For people who already have experience and understand how credit works, consider that they can manage several cards, something she herself does and elaborated on in her video, which has received numerous reactions and comments.

"I only have one because I don't understand anything"; "The truth is that I congratulate you. Your organization is admirable"; "I only have one question, when you apply, doesn’t your credit go down?"; "Hello. Could you explain how to use and pay for a secured card, so that your credit goes up? Do you recommend paying multiple times before the cutoff?"; "Please teach us how to pay like you do, so you don’t pay interest to banks. Thank you"; "When it comes to paying the cards, do you set reminders in your calendar so you don’t forget, or do they notify you?" some told her.

"It's not good to cancel a card, it lowers your credit"; "The bank doesn't just profit when you pay interest; they earn commissions when you use cards just like you do"; "Canceling a new card doesn't affect credit. It only affects if you cancel an old card"; "Everything you said is very good except for the part about canceling the card; doing that is not good for your credit score"; "I have only one and I don't want more; that tempts one to go into debt"; "I prefer not to have cards; we human beings are emotional and we succumb to the desire to buy"; "You don't even know what you're saying," others told him.

What do you think?
