The video of a huge American crocodile caught swimming very close to a beach in Broward County, Florida, has gone viral on social media.

The video was shared on Instagram by @evergladesholidaypark who showed the reptile a few meters from the beach.

"Look at this HUGE American crocodile that has been swimming near the beaches in Broward County, Florida," he pointed out.

In the comments section, several people agreed that, on the beaches of Florida, swimmers should not only worry about shark attacks but also about the presence of crocodiles.

In July, the image of an American crocodile bathing on the beach in Miami Beach left some internet users speechless, while others see nothing strange about it.

"Well, I will never bathe at night again," wrote the witness of the scene in his Instagram stories this Thursday, tagging the popular profile Only in Dade in his video.

Recently, another image caused a stir on social media. It was a huge gathering of alligators captured in the Okefenokee swamp, near the border between the states of Florida and Georgia in the United States.

"Wow! Take a look at all the alligators in the Okefenokee swamp, near the line between Florida and Georgia. Incredible!" commented meteorologist Matt Devitt, who shared the video on Facebook.
