Cayo Guillermo hosts the most luxurious LGBTQ+ hotel in Cuba: This is the Gran Muthu Rainbow.

The Gran Muthu Rainbow Hotel in Cayo Guillermo is an exclusive destination for the LGBTQ+ community, combining luxury and a paradise-like environment.

The Gran Muthu Rainbow Hotel, located in Cayo Guillermo, has established itself as the most luxurious and exclusive destination for the LGBTQ+ community in Cuba.

The YouTuber Alejandro from the channel Literalmente Cubano visited the hotel and left some references for his followers. He explained that a friend invited him to stay, with an offer that cost 257 dollars for three nights with an all-inclusive plan. During high season, this hotel can be much more expensive.

The food options were scarce. "It's the basics, as always," said the YouTuber and mentioned that there are several specialized restaurants in the facility, but they don't operate every day.

This resort is managed by MGM Muthu Hotels, but it belongs to the Gaviota S.A. Group of the Cuban state monopoly GAESA, with business administration by the Revolutionary Armed Forces (FAR).

The hotel opened in 2019. It stands out not only for being in Jardines del Rey, an area of great natural beauty, but also for being an inclusive and welcoming space dedicated to celebrating diversity.

Designed specifically for the LGBTQ+ community, the Gran Muthu Rainbow offers a unique experience on the island, combining luxury, comfort, and high-level entertainment. It is the ideal place for an unforgettable vacation, but only tourists who pay with hard currency visit it.

Among its attractions are pool parties, gala dinners, and specialized nighttime entertainment, which guarantee unforgettable moments in a safe, respectful environment, and inaccessible to Cuban workers, whose salaries do not even reach to guarantee food on the family table every day.

The management of Gran Muthu Rainbow assures that this hotel is the perfect refuge for those seeking a space where diversity is celebrated in every corner and that they have a team of professionals capable of providing excellent service, something uncommon in most hotels in Cuba.

In 2019, this hotel was included in the list of Cuban companies with which Americans are prohibited from trading.

That year, the United States government added five hotels to the blacklist, which are Gran Hotel Bristol Kempinski in Havana; Grand Aston Varadero Resort; Grand Aston Cayo Las Brujas Beach Resort and Spa; Gran Muthu Imperial Hotel; and Gran Muthu Rainbow Hotel, both in Cayo Guillermo.
