A Cuban shows the heat in Houston by cracking an egg in a pan on the sidewalk.

A Cuban resident in Houston has decided to push the limits of the extreme temperatures in the city by conducting a curious experiment that has captured attention on TikTok. With the scorching heat of the Texas summer, this ingenious woman decided to try frying an egg directly on the sidewalk.

"Houston is a city where you can enjoy the four seasons of the year. We are in summer, and right now the sun is too strong. So strong that in just a few hours you can fry an egg. Details you need to know if you visit this city," comments the user @osmy_cubanita, who appears on the sidewalk in front of her house with a frying pan and an egg.

Although the video does not show the result of the fried egg experiment, this Cuban assures that the egg can be cooked in a few hours. "It's crazy!" she commented, before recommending everyone visiting the city to stay hydrated and protect themselves from the sun.

In response to these images, many have commented on the temperatures in Houston and other places in the United States. "Here in Las Vegas it's worse," says a user. "It's not that hot in Houston compared to Arizona and Las Vegas," or "I think they need to go through Washington State to see what real heat is," said others.

What do you think?
