Cuban asks for help to find young people who impacted him and fled after an accident in Hialeah.

The accident occurred on December 13, 2023, and the Cuban has still not received a response regarding the detention of those involved.

A Cuban resident in the city of Hialeah went to the media to reveal the accident he suffered in December of last year, and for which the police still have not apprehended the young people who hit his car.

The accident occurred on December 13, 2023, at the intersection of 1st East Avenue and NW 54 ST, in Hialeah, reported AmericaTeVe.

The Cuban, named Dionald del Río, was on his way home from work when he was hit by the car driven by three teenagers, who can be seen in a video shared by the source escaping the accident scene, leaving an abandoned car.

"When I arrived at the first, a car came that knocked out the power, the car was stolen and hit me. It almost killed me, and then they fled taking several things and leaving me for dead," he expressed.

Del Río thanked the people who witnessed and recorded what happened, as it served as evidence for his case.

"Those who were present there, who were the witnesses that filmed everything, are the ones who tell my wife that they have the videos of the guys when they start to run, and they themselves served as witnesses to the police," he commented.

They couldn't repair the Cuban's vehicle. "The car insurance wanted to communicate with the police because they say the car that hit me was stolen and the plates were stolen, and they have no one to claim against," he stated, although he emphasized that they did cover his medical expenses.

The man was awaiting surgery, in addition to suffering consequences in his legs and other parts of his body.

"I feel bad because ever since I arrived in this country, I have always worked. What happened to me can happen to another family because I have my wife and I have my children. Tell me, what if something had happened to me? Today, my wife wouldn't even know who killed me," he stated to demand greater promptness from the police.

AmericaTeVe asked that anyone who recognized the young people involved contact the authorities at the Crime Stop line.
