Cuban father gets emotional visiting supermarket in Mexico: What abundance!

The life of this Cuban has been marked by austerity; he could not hold back his tears upon seeing so much food abundance in Mexico.

A 68-year-old Cuban visited a supermarket in Mexico for the first time and could not hold back tears at the abundance of products he found.

This man has lived his entire life under the communist regime in Cuba. On the island, food has been severely restricted and regulated by the ration booklet for over 60 years.

The video was shared by the Cuban YouTuber Michel Crónicas (@michelcronicas) who resides in Mexico and managed to invite his father to spend some time with him. Since July, he had announced that his dad already had the visa and they would be together soon.

Michel's father had never experienced the feeling of shopping in a well-stocked supermarket, without restrictions.

During the visit, the young man treated his father with understanding and affection, aware that the elderly man's reaction of astonishment was completely natural. "Mexico is a country of abundance," the excited father of the YouTuber expressed, as his eyes filled with tears.

This moving moment has touched the hearts of many, who have seen in the simple gesture a reflection of the deep differences in quality of life between Cuba and other countries.

"Long live Mexico!" concluded the man, grateful for the experience.
