Former President Donald Trump accused Democratic Vice President Kamala Harris of copying his proposal to exempt tips for workers from taxes.

La campaña de Trump considera que la demócrata "está copiando" por su falta de ideas originales, sus pocas luces y su incapacidad de presentar un proyecto sólido para el nuevo gobierno en Estados Unidos.

The Republican team pointed out that Harris implemented a program to increase tax collection on tips last year, and now her recent promise to eliminate such taxes is a clear plagiarism of Trump's initiative.

During a rally in Las Vegas, Harris made a statement similar to Trump's proposal, promising that if elected president, she would eliminate taxes on tips to benefit workers in the tertiary sector, that is, in services.

Trump's campaign harshly criticized this promise, pointing out that it contradicts Harris's previous policies and questioning its authenticity.

Steven Cheung, communications director for the Trump-Vance campaign, called Harris’s promise dishonest and accused her team of preventing the vice president from answering questions on this topic.

In addition, they believe that Harris, being part of the current administration, could have taken steps to eliminate taxes on tips if she truly wanted to, but they indicated that this might not be the case.

Trump's team questioned Harris's ability as a leader, suggesting that her campaign is controlled by former advisers of Barack Obama, that she is a weak candidate, and that she is poorly prepared for the presidential race in the United States.
