Cubans react to a poll that gives Kamala Harris an advantage over Donald Trump in Miami-Dade.

"History and present: On November 7, 2024, it will be 107 years since the Bolsheviks entered Russia. And on November 5, 2024, the Bolsheviks will try to enter the White House. Wake up, USA," warned one of the more than a thousand internet users who commented on CiberCuba's networks.

The news that Vice President Kamala Harris is leading former Republican President Donald Trump, according to a poll measuring voter intent in Miami-Dade County, generated intense debate on CiberCuba's social media.

Conducted in early August by MDW Communications and recently published by a Democratic strategist, the poll found that 54% of potential voters in the county support Harris, in contrast to the 40% of respondents who pledged their support to Trump.

Despite citing the Miami Herald as a source in the note, many readers of CiberCuba who are MAGA supporters launched attacks against this media outlet, accusing it of a variety of unfounded claims, such as receiving money in exchange for publishing news in favor of the Democratic candidate, being infiltrated by communists, working for the Cuban regime, or for the billionaire George Soros, a central figure in countless conspiracy theories.

"Very Important: CiberCuba is a spokesperson for democrats and communists. More Important: Wake up and don't let yourselves be influenced by this type of 'press.' What a way to use the horn of CiberCuba in the service of evil! CiberCuba sold to the highest bidder. What more can be expected in these times?" stated Miguel Ángel Consuegra Prieto.

"CiberCuba Noticias is a good promoter of the communists. Wake up and don't be deceived, as all these channels preach communism and you know this very well; you fled your countries to improve your lives and have freedom of expression. We need to think carefully about what we are going to do," warned Paula Ramos.

"The media is receiving money for promoting the popular opinion in favor of the Hyena and the Democratic Party... There is a lot of money in the hands of media outlets to ensure they don't speak poorly of Kamala and promote that she is leading in the polls... What is happening is a disgrace... we never thought this would happen in the US. God have mercy... if those people win, everything will be ruined... it's a fact," said Ri Ver.

"CiberCuba wins with this controversy; they always play the same game, it always benefits them. They know it's a lie, but they throw the meat in the water to attract the piranhas. Let's not fall for it, these are from the other side," said Roberto Fuentes.

"Corporate journalism greasing the machines at full speed. What a way to amplify the lie, all of them fed by Soros!" said Osmel Rodríguez Díaz, who, like many others, chose to "kill the messenger."

The fear that a future President Harris will establish a communist regime in the United States was also expressed by many other Cubans in the comments.

At the same time, several internet users drew parallels between the presidential elections in November and the previous Venezuelan elections, expressing their discontent with the alleged "fraud" that the Democrats are preparing, accusing them of wanting to cheat with the ballot results, just like the National Electoral Council (CNE) of Nicolás Maduro's regime.

"History and present: On November 7, 2024, it will be 107 years since the Bolsheviks entered Russia. And on November 5, 2024, the Bolsheviks will try to enter the White House. History and present. WAKE UP United States," warned Frank Quintana.

"I am a citizen of this country and I live in this county, and no one has asked me. It seems that it was the crocodiles who voted for her. A bunch of cheaters. Trump 2024," said Clara Leal, unaware of the methodology used in the voting intention surveys and mistakenly believing, like many others, that these should gather the opinion of all registered voters.

In that regard, the user identified as José Díaz tried to provide a more informed opinion. "In Miami-Dade, the Democrats always win, and the rest of Florida sees the Republicans winning. Look at the polls from previous elections, and you'll see."

"I'm not surprised, since Miami is already full of communists and leftist parasites of all kinds," Humberto Pérez replied. "They have allowed them to gain ground by saying that socialism wouldn't arrive here, and the truth is that they have already infested the youth, and many who fled their countries are now voting for the very causes of their own misfortunes. Anyone who votes Democrat this November is giving their vote to the leftists," he concluded.

"No one has realized what they are doing: they are trying to get you to adjust your mind [with the idea] that [Harris] can win so that when he wins, you won't see it as strongly and a war won't form here. But don't doubt that the Democrats will pull their trick," said Efrén Colina.

"At the rate they are going, they could win Florida, Texas, and all the Republican states at any moment. Every day they remind me more of the CNE of Venezuela," said user jorger.p on this medium's Instagram account.
