Can you live well in the United States by cleaning houses?: A Cuban shares her experience

"This business is very good."

The young Cuban Leidy Aragon, who has been cleaning houses in the United States for over a year and already has her own company, responded on TikTok to one of the most common questions for those considering working in house cleaning in the United States.

"Can you live well with that job?" was the question that @leidy.aragon answered on social media while showing a trick to remove hair from chairs using only gloves.

On a typical day, she says, she can clean several houses whose prices vary depending on the type of cleaning, the size of the property, and the frequency of the service.

"I always try to reach an agreement with the client without having to give away the work," Leidy comments, pointing out that one can earn very well in this business, much more than people imagine.

At the end of the video, he mentioned that the highest amount he has made in one day, having cleaned in two different places, is $1,800.

Among surprises, questions, and messages of support, users reacted: "In South Florida, this business is almost impossible, as they want to pay $60 for a huge house and not only do they want cleaning, they also want laundry and organization, and I can't do it for that price"; "I can't stand it when houses have hair, it takes longer than usual"; "I wish I could earn $1800 in a day"; "Do you have your business formalized? License and insurance? Because I haven't formalized yet and I've had clients," some said.

Leidy, who regularly shares tips and informative content about her business on her account, concluded her video by stating that one can live well in the United States by cleaning houses, as long as one is willing to work hard and look for clients who value the service.
