The popular Cuban tiktoker @elprofeperdu shared a new video online describing, with his usual sarcasm and humor, the qualities that he believes define "true Cubans."
In his video, the Cuban living in Italy stated: "Look, pay attention to me, we Cubans, the real Cubans are like this. We are party lovers, we are fun-seekers; we are the ones who bring the music. I might be ugly but I laugh at those who pretend to be pretty... that's just how I am, man. We Cubans laugh off our problems, we’re not going to laugh at yours, and be careful if you drop a sweet potato in front of us because we’re going to laugh."
"We are going to help you, but first let us laugh. That's so people can struggle for us," he continued amidst laughter.
The comments filled with laughter and affirmations flooded the video: "For sure"; "That's right"; "You're a happy person"; "Because life is a carnival"; "Doesn't stop"; "For sure"; "We laugh at our problems"; "We laugh at everything"; "We laugh at those who think they're cute"; "We laugh at our friends"; "The ugly one is called ugly but tasty."
