Cuban singers Yulién Oviedo and Dany Ome took to their social media to show their support for their colleague El Taiger, whose real name is José Manuel Carbajal Zaldívar, who is currently incarcerated.
In an Instagram post, Oviedo shared a photo with the performer of "La Historia" and "Marca Mandarina" in which they are seen embracing on stage and dedicated some emotional words.
"Friend, we love you from the heart because we came from a time when these dreams that we are fulfilling today seemed impossible," wrote Yulién, expressing his wish for El Taiger to regain his freedom soon and continue making music for everyone to enjoy his art.
The publication by Oviedo is not only a personal show of support but also a recognition of the talent of El Taiger, one of the most popular figures in Cuban urban music. "I hope you're back on the streets soon, my bro, and make music just for everyone to enjoy your art," Yulién added.
For his part, Dany Ome also joined the expressions of solidarity towards El Taiger.
On his Instagram account, Dany Ome posted an image of the singer with a clear message: "Forbidden to forget you @el_taiger. Free the man from wherever he is."
