A man is riding a bicycle in the middle of I-95.

It is not known if the cyclist arrived safely at their destination, or if they were stopped and fined by the police for an action that puts their life and the lives of others on the road at risk.

A man riding his bicycle as fast as his legs could go down the middle of I-95 was captured in a video that has been shared on social media.

The unusual event occurred this Sunday on the busy Interstate 95, south of Florida, and astonished a couple who were in a car and filmed the scene.

"Riding a bicycle the old-fashioned way in the middle of I-95 is wild!" expressed the author of the post on the Instagram account of the user Only in Dade.

The recording caused astonishment and outrage among internet users due to the danger of riding a bicycle on that road, where it is also illegal to move in such vehicles.

"The ignorance of their safety of being on the I-95 highway on a bicycle, obviously, runs a risk, especially with the traffic as it is these days in Miami," questioned a Cuban.

"Another stupidity, but where is the police, so many cameras, so much police when these things happen?" asked another.

"The wild thing is that he is overtaking cars. At what speed do you have to go on the 95 for a bike to pass you?" asked another user.

It is not known whether the cyclist arrived safe and sound at their destination, or if they were captured and fined by the police for a behavior that endangers others on the road.

The worst part is that this is not the first time such events have occurred.

In January 2023, some Cubans recorded a man who was risking his life riding a bicycle on a highway in Miami, apparently on the I-95 Express, near Ives Dairy Rd, in northern Miami-Dade.

In the cyclist's video, it could be seen how the man was gradually changing lanes until he managed to exit the roadway.

In May 2022, two Cuban cyclists died while riding their bikes on the Rickenbacker Causeway in Miami, which connects the city to the town of Key Biscayne.

The deceased were a couple from Matanzas, aged 49 and 46.
