"There are still no reports that it has made landfall," he pointed out.

This weekend, a surprising weather phenomenon occurred in Miami when a waterspout formed near Downtown, astonishing the residents who spotted it from their apartments.

The images, captured from a building in the heart of the city, showed the dangerous approach of this weather formation towards a yacht sailing in the bay.

In July, the bad weather that prevailed in south Florida left shocking images on social media of what appears to be an impressive water spout in the Key Biscayne area, in Miami-Dade County.

Several witnesses captured the well-defined weather phenomenon on camera.
