Not because it is usual does it become less striking every time a waterspout is seen in the waters of Miami Beach.
This Saturday, August 31, residents and visitors of the popular South Beach neighborhood were surprised in the morning by the always spectacular natural phenomenon.
A video shared on the popular Instagram account Only in Dade showed a perfectly formed waterspout a few hundred meters off the coast.
"A normal day in Miami," sentenced a commentator, although others couldn't hold back a "wow!" at the phenomenon.
At the end of August, another waterspout captured from the top of a building in Miami Beach was dangerously close to a yacht sailing through the area. However, the waterspout veered at the last moment, fortunately avoiding a disaster for the occupants of the yacht.
A few weeks earlier, amid the bad weather that plagued southern Florida at the end of July, social media shared another impressive waterspout, this time in the Key Biscayne area.
In mid-June, cameras captured another waterspout that formed this time also in the waters of Miami Beach.
In the waters of southern Florida, waterspouts are recurrent, especially during the hurricane season, which runs from June 1 to November 30 each year.
