Chocolate MC is free again, and after his release from prison, his godfather Dayron Baralt shared a photo on Instagram featuring both of them along with the reggaeton artist's lawyer.
"One more victory! Get ready for the best tour across the United States!" Baralt wrote in the post description, implying that very soon the King of the Reparteros will be touring that country.
The Cuban influencer Un Martí To Durako also published photos on Instagram of the moment when Chocolate's godfather and his girlfriend Hany Díaz approached the prison to pick him up.
On July 26, Chocolate was released, but his joy was short-lived because a few days later he returned to jail. According to his sister Isis Sierra and his girlfriend Hany, he was unjustly detained due to a court error that needed to be resolved soon.
The reggaeton artist was arrested on May 10 on charges of "sexual assault without severe injury, kidnapping, possession of firearms, aggravated assault, and robbery by sudden snatching," and later in the criminal court presided over by Judge Mindy S. Glazer, he was accused of threatening to kill the Cuban influencer and musician Diosnel Martell, who at the time of the events was in a relationship with Hany Díaz.
