Cubans on social media sought help to identify the driver of a blue motorcycle, who had an accident in the province of Camagüey and is currently hospitalized.
The internet user Yanet Morell Dominguez shared images of the vehicle in a local Facebook group and asked that if "anyone recognizes this motorcycle," they should inform the family that "the girl is in very bad condition" and was transferred to the Provincial Hospital of Camagüey.
The woman was riding a blue Yamaha motorbike.
Accidents in Cuba show no mercy. The day before, two people were injured in the collision between a truck that fell from a bridge over the Arimao River and a tractor on Juan Bruno Zayas Sur road in Manicaragua.
Also on Wednesday, just hours after a massive traffic accident that left nine injured in Santiago de Cuba, another traffic incident was reported in that same province when a passenger transport truck collided with a motorcycle on an avenue in the capital city.
In a note published on Facebook, the communicator Yosmany Mayeta Labrada reported that the crash occurred because the truck driver did not respect the red light of the traffic signal and said he was unaware if the motorcycle driver was injured.
