Cuban reggaeton artist Yordy is in Miami.

After their emotional reunion, Yody and L’Kimii are already recording new songs together in Miami.

The Cuban reggaeton artist Yordano Ulacia Creach -known as Yordy DK- arrived in Miami this week, although it is not clear at the moment whether it is a visit or a permanent move.

"Everything comes to those who know how to wait. The best is yet to come," wrote the urban genre singer alongside a video showing his arrival in the United States.

Upon his arrival, Yordy DK reunited with his former musical partner L’Kimii (Osniel Andrés Covarrubia Alfonso), who arrived in U.S. territory in 2022.

"Welcome to the United States of America," L'Kimii wrote on Instagram, who has been seen very happy about the reunion.

"And what if we make badass music and make a difference? That's why we came. For the culture, for the neighborhood, for our people," they posted in a very recent post where both of them are seen in the midst of recording.

The reunion has excited many fans who have faith in the new stage of both reggaeton artists and celebrate seeing them working together again.

According to what was shared on social media in the last few hours, Yordy already has scheduled performances in various U.S. cities, such as New Jersey, Dallas, Las Vegas, Arizona, Houston, Tampa, and Portland.

At the beginning of this year, Yordy was on tour in Peru. At that time, he hinted on social media that he planned to move to Miami, although he did not clarify whether it would be permanent.

The duo, formerly known as El Kimiko & Yordy, became very popular on the island in 2019.

Kimiko and Yordy's first major success was Cambia tú, released in August 2019 alongside Wampi.

Due to the success that the song achieved that year, a remix was released in 2020, featuring Srta Dayana, El Chulo, and Dj Unic.

In March 2021, they signed a contract with the renowned Italian record label Planet Records, which was considered a significant achievement in the duo's career.

However, in March 2022, the reggaeton artists announced their separation as a duo, following El Kimiko's decision to embark on his own musical project.

During their performance as a duo in the world of reggaeton, they joined forces with several representatives of Cuban urban music, such as El Micha, Lenier Mesa, and Yomil, as well as the late Daniel Muñoz (El Dany), with whom they created the successful song Tengo una pila, for which they won the Popularity Award at the Lucas Awards in late 2020.

Other successes of the Cuban duo include "Omaigaaa," "Te cambié," "No estoy en gente," "Noche de Perdedor," with El Micha; "Mírala," a tribute to the late artist Elvis Manuel alongside Lenier Mesa; and the remix of "Cambia Tú," with El Chulo, Srta Dayana, Wampi, and Dj Unic.
