Cuban mother erupts over poor conditions at her child's school for the new school year.

"On these tables, hands get pinched, uniforms get torn, books get damaged. Two little lamps, the child who has vision problems is messed up."

A Cuban mother exploded on her social networks over the poor conditions of the classroom where her son will be teaching next school year, which starts on Monday.

Lianet Oyasita, a resident of Havana, shared a video on her Facebook wall recorded in a fourth-grade classroom and clarified that the others are the same.

The recording shows the deterioration of the premises, with a stained ceiling where water from the recent rains has leaked in, and the floor still full of classroom debris because no one has come to clean.

"What I feel is just like crying just knowing that my son is going to study here, because as soon as a heavy rain falls, look, look at that roof and that floor..." said the woman indignantly.

Then he pointed to the door, which is practically detached. "Look at this, no security at all," he emphasized.

In another post, Lianet shared several photos as a way to denounce what her child and the other students will have to face.

"I'm going to raise this until Díaz-Canel sees it, and I want a response with a change immediately. I don't understand why children have to start the school year under these terrible, awful conditions," he questioned.

The images show the place with broken windows, barely two lamps on the ceiling, walls full of dampness, and the poor condition of the tables where the children will have to write.

"What child feels like going to school under such terrible conditions? Who can concentrate at a table like this when their hands get hurt, their uniforms get torn, and the books are damaged..." he detailed.

"This is a lack of respect, that so many children have to start the school year under these disgusting circumstances. What role does the municipality of Education play in the schools? Someone tell me, and I will not stop," he concluded.

What do you think?
