Cuban independent journalist Yosmany Mayeta Labrada revealed the identity of a thief who was captured inside a house on Saturday night in the city of Santiago de Cuba.
According to Mayeta's revelation on her Facebook profile, it is about a phone thief who was fleeing across the rooftops and was caught when he fell into a house located on the central Aguilera street, between Segunda and Tercera, in the Santa Bárbara neighborhood.
The criminal is named Ronald Saburen Guerrero and resides in the town of El Cobre. The images show that he is a young boy.
He was taken out without a shirt by the police and quickly put into a patrol car, amid the shouts of people who gathered at the scene asking the officers to hand him over so they could do justice.
"These cries have become very frequent lately, due to the low effectiveness of the police in the city, where just a few days later, the criminal is seen back on the street," commented the reporter in the initial post.
The wrongdoer was transferred to the "La Motorizada" Police Unit, very close to the residence.
At the entrance, two officers had a small scuffle, including shoving, which caught the attention of everyone present.
It is significant that the housing portal is completely barred, which indicates that not even this protective measure stops criminals in Cuba.
