Cuban woman shows her house in Cuba in response to criticism over the car model she rented to visit her family.

Cuban responds to criticism for the new car she rented in Cuba to see her family.

A Cuban woman returned to the island to reunite again and shared the emotional reunion she experienced with them on her TikTok profile. However, users did not overlook the model of the car with which she arrived at the family home, sparking a wave of criticism.

"Those Cuban potters rent cars from the dictatorship while their families are starving and living in a shack that is falling down on them," or "These people live horribly, having neither food to eat nor a place to sit, but they drive a new car," said some users in reaction to the video, which shows someone arriving in a car that appears to be a Changan UNI-T. This type of car is a compact SUV with a futuristic design launched in 2020 by the Chinese automaker Changan Automobile, and its price ranges from $15,000 to $20,000 depending on its equipment.

In response to these malicious messages, the user @lilianm270 (as this Cuban identifies on TikTok) replied in other videos, showing the house where her family lives in Cuba.

"The car is old and rented, it's not mine. You filled me with hatred," she told one of the users, showing photos of her home on the island. Images with which she intends to prove that these users are wrong with their comments, and that her family lives in good conditions on the island.

After seeing the images of the house, many Cubans praised the way of responding to the criticisms.

"God bless you and guide you always, it's noticeable you are a warrior not only for yourself but also for your family, my respects to the nosy ones, let them endure," "Many people have had to leave their well-settled homes just to have a little bit of freedom and a little bit of food and without blackouts," "Your house is beautiful, and your family is even more beautiful, blessings and may you always enjoy them," "God bless you, your house is very lovely and that is the greatest pride of a Cuban living here, its roots," "I am very glad to see Cubans living well and your mom has the house very lovely and extremely clean," are some of the comments dedicated to this Cuban after she showed her home.
