Six Cuban sisters in Florida could break the Guinness World Record for longevity.

A group of six Cuban sisters, residents of South Florida, may be about to enter the Guinness World Records for having a combined age of 575 years.

These women have exceeded all expectations and, despite not yet having the necessary documents to confirm it, could dethrone the current holders of the Guinness title, a group of sisters in Missouri with a combined age of 571 years.

Last Saturday, these beautiful Cuban grandmothers gathered to celebrate a historic moment, the 106th birthday of Teresa Ríos, the eldest of the González sisters.

Accompanied by Lidia (99 years old), Adelaida (95 years old), Olga (94 years old), Antonia (93 years old), and Nancy (85 years old), Teresa's birthday celebration was a reflection of the love and unity that has characterized this family over the decades.

7 News Miami reported that the González family was part of a group of 12 siblings, all born in Cuba. They emigrated to the United States in the 1960s. Teresa has been a key pillar in keeping her family united in South Florida.

Over the years, these sisters have celebrated each birthday and significant family events together, overcoming difficult moments like the pandemic, which prevented some family gatherings.

This Cuban family in the United States has begun the process of gathering documents to try to obtain official recognition from the Guinness World Records, although regardless of the outcome, the six sisters will continue to enjoy the quality moments they spend together.
