A tragic incident occurred on a beach in Naples, Florida, when a lightning strike hit three members of a Cuban family, leaving one of them in critical condition.

Adrián García, a 24-year-old young man, is fighting for his life after being struck by an electric shock, which has caused him severe brain damage.

The young man remains connected to a machine to maintain his breathing. The doctors have indicated that the injuries are irreparable.

The incident took place on Saturday, after the Cuban family entered the water following a brief rain. "There were no thunder and the sun was coming out," said Diosmary Arencibia, a member of the group, in an interview with Telemundo 51.

He explained that they were all very close together in the sea when suddenly the lightning struck them. The strike hit three people, but Adrián was the most affected. The other two involved are out of danger.

The scenes of the rescue were recorded by content creator Reyvil García, who described the moment as "panic-inducing."

He commented that people, upon seeing what had happened, rushed out of the water in shock, and some were running to get dressed in order to leave the area as quickly as possible.

García also emphasized that it had rained shortly before the incident, but the sky was clear. "There were no signs indicating danger."

Local authorities quickly arrived at the scene to assist the victims and control the situation.

Adrián remains hospitalized and his family is asking for prayers to overcome this pain. They hope to find a solution to the young man's delicate medical case.

This week, another Cuban family residing in West Park, Broward, Florida, experienced moments of distress when a lightning struck their house.

The electric discharge severely damaged a wall. That incident did occur during a storm that affected the area where at least 12 lightning strikes were recorded.
