They warn of the gang "Los Trasnochadores" that assaults for fun in Havana.

"Just for fun, they attack the older people, after they get high on that stuff and the Police do nothing," said a victim.

Several Cubans are warning about a gang of young people who beat up others for fun in Havana and call themselves "Los Trasnochadores," because they always act at night or in the early morning.

According to the independent outlet CubaNet, the group operates in the Cerro municipality.

"They beat you up, they hit you with fists, they hit you with sticks and stones, and they don't rob you of anything, they don't steal anything from you; it's just about beating you up, four in the morning, so that people won't go to work," recounted a victim.

Several victims reported that the gang rides around on skateboards and alternately slaps and kicks people, and they agreed that behind this vandalism is drug use, such as "chemicals."

A man stated that he is still suffering from his right eye and ear due to the kick he received. "For nothing, they attack the older people, after they smoke all that stuff and the Police do nothing," he detailed.
