Eileen Morales, known on social media as “La Cubana TikTok,” recounted an unpleasant experience she had a few days ago in a parking lot when she discovered a man touching himself inappropriately because of her, and she left a piece of advice for her female followers as a result of that incident.

The popular TikToker -who has over 888,000 followers on that social network- says that although it happened to her many times in Cuba, it had not happened in the three years she has been in Miami, and maybe for that reason, the incident affected her even more.

He explained that he was having a coffee inside his car in the parking lot of a Starbucks, and when he looked around to reverse, he discovered that there was a car nearby, with a door open and a man involved in that activity.

"The women know how bad that makes us feel. It's something horrible," said Morales, who picked up the phone to record, but the person backed away to prevent her from taking the license plate number. However, at the moment when the driver was forced to turn to leave, she was able to get the number.

The Cuban said she felt bewildered when a friend advised her not to file a complaint that would at most end in "a small fine" after a lot of paperwork, and recommended simply not to look to the sides when she is in parking lots.

"I totally disagree. I need to be aware of my surroundings. I cut off all inspiration, and I will always tell her, 'Leave me alone!'" pointed out Eileen Morales.

"I will always go determined to completely distract them, because that is not right. We are not victims and we have to defend ourselves if something bothers us. They enjoy seeing us scared," concluded the TikToker, who advised her followers never to be intimidated by similar incidents.
