Cuban in Hialeah offers refuge to homeless young person: "I know what it's like to struggle"

The woman expressed that the situation of the young man sleeping on the street deeply moved her, as she knows what it is like to go through hardships.

A Cuban woman took part in an altruistic and supportive gesture by offering refuge to a compatriot who, after spending five days living on the street, sought help through social media.

The influencer Dairon Cano, who has been supporting the young man since he learned about his situation, shared this gesture of solidarity among Cubans on TikTok, highlighting that he now has a place to live.

“They told me: ‘Dairon, bring him here and I'll offer my little house’,” commented the TikToker, who has always highlighted having a network of supportive followers willing to help the people he presents as cases of need.

The woman expressed that the situation of the young man sleeping on the street deeply moved her, as she knows what it is like to go through difficulties: "We are Cubans, and we have to help each other."

"Today for you, tomorrow for me, that's how it is," expressed the Cuban. "In Cuba, we share poverty; whether we have a lot or a little, we can also share it."

Cano assured the young man that, after having taken him off the streets, he would now focus on helping him find a job.

The TikToker claimed that helping others should be one of the reasons for any influencer: "Help, support, bring your people together."

"Tomorrow he is a millionaire, and you fall (pointing at the woman), and he will remember that you opened the doors of your house for him," Cano emphasized.

Last Saturday, the influencer shared a video on TikTok which motivated other people, after learning about the case of the young Cuban sleeping on the streets of Miami, to come forward to offer help.

"These are the beautiful things about social media," highlighted Cano.

Recently, the influencer helped a 20-year-old Cuban who had just arrived in the U.S. and was left homeless in Tampa after the person who was hosting him kicked him out.

"Young Cuban, they throw him out on the street and he has only been in the US for a month. Let's help him please!" wrote Cano alongside a video showing him handing the young man food to take to the house where he is temporarily staying and a hundred dollars.
