A Cuban-Mexican couple from Texas has caused a sensation on TikTok (on the account @cubanmex22) by sharing a video filled with nostalgia and humor while visiting a Cuban store in Irving.

In the video, the woman, of Mexican origin, comments with laughter: "Sir, we come to the Cuban store, and my husband thinks he is literally in Cuba. He shows me all the smells. Here there is everything, my favorite coffee is here." This clip captured the enthusiastic reaction of her Cuban husband, who showed some products to his wife, reviving the smells and essence of the island thanks to the products.

The scene has sparked a wave of comments among TikTok users, many of them identifying with the emotions triggered by reconnecting with Cuban flavors and scents abroad. "We left Cuba, but Cuba doesn't leave us," commented a follower, while another added: "The nostalgia of a Cuban for the things that are uniquely ours is unparalleled."

Several users also shared personal experiences. "My baby's family is Cuban and his uncle always brings me the baby cologne they use, and even I use it when I shower." Another user highlighted the impact of Cuban expressions on a young woman of Mexican origin, commenting: "Just with 'caballero' she already has the Cuban vibe going!"

This type of video shows how Cuban immigrants in the United States keep their culture alive, and even manage to infect their partners and friends with customs and expressions.
