After setting a new record on Saturday by hitting a ball with his head 172 times in one minute, the Cuban Johen Lefont achieved his second consecutive world record on Sunday in the III Travesía de Aguas Abiertas Gran Retto Cuba.

This time, Lefont, a former water polo player, covered 750 meters in the waters of Varadero, Matanzas, while balancing the ball on his head, exceeding his previous record of 600 meters.

Despite the difficult weather conditions, the athlete expressed his satisfaction with the achievement and anticipated his goal of breaking two new records before the end of the year, according to the Prensa Latina agency.

With more than a dozen records, the athlete from Matanzas continues to solidify his legacy in ball control, as he holds a dozen universal records, 10 of which are recognized by the Guinness World Records and one currently undergoing validation, not including the one set the day before.

The aforementioned medium recalled that its first universal record was in February 2010 and since then it has continued to break records, notably the one achieved two months ago in a pool with 2,031 touches with the head and a weight of five kilograms around its waist.
