Last August, a family from Sancti Spíritus offered a reward of 200 dollars for anyone who finds and returns their lost dog.

Vivian González Lorenzo reported in the Facebook group “(SOS) Lost Dogs in Cuba” that a pet, apparently a dachshund, went missing in the Garaita area, near the Children's Center.

That same month, a woman sought help to find her dog named Loky and offered a reward for anyone who returned him.

Marlene Ramírez reported on Facebook that her Chihuahua dog went missing at 12:00 PM, and in her desperation, she offered a reward of 5,000 pesos for its return.

However, in Cuba, rewards are not offered solely for finding dogs and cats.

This Tuesday, a young man offered a reward of 40,000 pesos for anyone who returns his lost mare in the province of Guantánamo.

Orlandis Sánchez announced in the Facebook group "Revolico Maisí" that he would offer that sum of money to anyone who returned his mare, and he shared his phone number, 54135090, for contact.
