"I cried the whole way": Cuban returns to the island and reunites with his daughter after more than 4 years.

"I enjoyed every moment by your side after 4 and a half years without seeing you, my princess. Thank you for making me the happiest dad in the world."

A young Cuban father living in the United States has touched hearts on social media by sharing the emotional moment of his return to Cuba after more than four and a half years without seeing his daughter.

In the video shared on his TikTok profile, @gera_20.cu, you can see the heartfelt reunion with the little girl, whom he embraces with great emotion.

This anticipated moment, which many other Cubans also long for in their own lives, became a moving testimony to the importance of family for those living outside their country.

"I return home after 4 and a half years, thank you God for allowing me to reunite with my princess and be able to give her that hug I always dreamed of," Gera wrote along with the video, accompanied by Cuban flags and hashtags like #cuba and #reunion.

The video not only captured the embrace between father and daughter but also reflected their happiness after so much time apart.

Previously, Gera had shared another video showing how he enjoyed every moment with his daughter on the island, expressing gratitude for the opportunity to be the "happiest dad in the world." "I love you so much, see you again soon, God willing," Gera said in that post, highlighting how valuable this time together was for him.

In another, she shared more moments of hugs with her loved ones on the island and experiences together to return recharged with love.

The reactions came quickly, many identified with their situation and expressed their own emotions upon watching the video.

"Many congratulations and enjoy those much-awaited moments, I feel the same way and I know that very soon it will be the same for me, blessings"; "It's inevitable not to cry, I just think about when it's my turn to see mine"; "God is good, how lovely to embrace your loved ones again, it's the biggest dream for all of us who are far from home"; "I am a witness to how much you have waited for this moment, bro, congratulations," many joined in the happiness of this Cuban father.
