Better ask me what I don't bring: A Cuban in the U.S. shares what she has in her luggage for Cuba.

"With Cuba, it's never enough."

It is one of the biggest headaches for Cubans abroad when preparing a trip to the island: the luggage, and precisely about this spoke on TikTok the content creator @lia_de_lacaridad.

In response to a follower's question about what she usually wears, Lia joked, "What if you ask me what I don't wear instead?"

Throughout the video, the young woman shared her long list of essentials, which includes everything from coffee and capsule detergent to sponges, towels, and cleaning products. Referring to a sadly known reality for many Cuban immigrants, she assured that she always tries to bring as much as she can for her family because with Cuba, "it's never enough."

In addition, she mentioned the challenges of packing due to weight limitations on flights: "Every trip is a challenge... because you want to take more, but it’s 50 pounds" and alluded to the fact that, although she cannot solve all the problems, she tries to make her family in Cuba try products that she herself uses and that may be useful for them in their daily lives.

The followers of this Cuban quickly began to comment on her video, sharing their experiences trying to balance the desire to stock up on everything with the limitations of space and money.

"I am the same, everything seems little to me... and there everything is well received"; "And every time you see something you say, how good is this for Cuba because they really do need everything"; "That's how we Cubans are who truly care about our family in Cuba," reacted some to the video that, without a doubt, has deeply connected with those who constantly seek ways to improve the living conditions of their loved ones in Cuba.
