Cuban father returns to the island after three and a half years and surprises his son at school.

"It's something unforgettable that gets tattooed in your heart."

The TikTok user @jorgellanes shared a moving video that has captured the hearts of many. After more than three and a half years away from his son, this Cuban father decided to surprise him at school, in an emotionally charged reunion. In the video, which has reached over 3,000 likes, you can see the little boy, upon leaving his school and noticing his dad waiting for him by a car, running directly towards him for a long embrace.

In the video, which features the song "Yo Volveré" by El Uniko in the background, the images speak for themselves. The boy runs, visibly excited, and the father welcomes him with open arms, showing how, after so much time apart, the distances vanish in such a significant moment.

"After 3 and a half years, I went to Cuba and surprised my son at school. I'm left speechless... I felt like I was living again," wrote the happy dad, making it clear the long time they were apart before this emotional reunion and celebrating the realization of the long-awaited dream of hugging his son again.

Followers quickly reacted to the video, many sharing their joy and wishing to experience a similar moment. Some commented on the difficulty of being separated from their children, while others sent blessings to @jorgellanes and his son: "Those moments restart the soul and are the most beautiful thing that can exist, congratulations, may God allow all of us who are far from our children to see them soon"; "So sweet as my dad says, what a beautiful blessing to hug family, blessings"; "I’m so happy, that moment is very happy to see them together, how fast time passes and how big he has grown, I love him so much"; "God, how hard, this distance"; "I’m also waiting for that moment, but I don’t know when I will be able to see my son, blessings"; "The hardest part is not going to see him, the hard part is leaving and going back"; "What excitement, that hug restarts your life"; "How lovely, many dreaming of that moment, many blessings"; "Blessings brother, I spent 5 years without seeing my little one, it’s the most beautiful thing that could have happened to me, to give him a hug and enjoy everything he wanted"; "With those hugs, our life restarts"; "That brother reached happiness"; "The most important thing I have in life is my son," they said.

The story of this dad reflects a reality faced by many Cuban families, separated for years due to the emigration of their members in search of a better future.

Reunions like this, for their part, have become frequent content on social media, where parents and children share that much-anticipated moment, and users empathize and support from afar, many yearning to experience it themselves firsthand.
