A young Cuban shared the emotional reunion she experienced with her parents upon her return to the island after two years away. The main character in the scene is Thalya González (@2601talhy), who filmed and shared that long-awaited moment on her TikTok profile, moving hundreds of Cubans with her cry of "mom."
"After 2 years of not seeing them," wrote the young woman, who added the tag "surprise arrival."
In the video, we can see how the young girl arrives at the street of her house and her mother comes out barefoot to hug her. After hugging her for a while, Thalya runs to meet her father.
