Cuban and Spanish compare food prices in Spain and the USA: "I was surprised by the difference."

Cuban YouTuber and Spanish TikToker compare food prices in supermarkets in the U.S. and Spain.

The Cuban YouTuber Frank Camallerys and the Spanish TikToker Nury Calvo met in Miami to compare the prices of some food items that you can find in any supermarket in Spain and the United States, such as rice, oil, or bananas.

"There are some prices I have gotten used to, but you are going to be surprised," says the Spaniard, who lives in Miami. Among the products they start comparing are oil and rice. "700 milliliters of oil in Spain cost 7.60 euros (approximately 8.47 dollars) and here 750 milliliters cost 11.89 dollars. Here rice is more expensive than in Spain. Almost a kilo costs 1.89 dollars. In Spain it is 1.35 euros (1.50 dollars)," they begin pointing out.

"This is one of the things that seems most expensive to me: sandwich turkey. 226 grams for $3.99, and in Spain, 250 grams cost 2.35 euros," they point out. "You will be surprised by the price of Coca-Cola. 2 liters for $2.79, and in Spain, the same is 2 euros."

After comparing the prices, the Cuban YouTuber commented that he was surprised by the difference.

In the comments of this video, many pointed out the difference in salaries from one country to another, noting that wages in the United States are much higher.
