American, married to a Cuban: "She doesn't throw anything away, not even a gram of rice."

An American man highlights the customs and big heart of his Cuban wife in a viral TikTok video.

An American man shared his experience of being with a Cuban woman, highlighting some of the most striking customs for him. In the video shared on the couple's TikTok account, where they call themselves Family Pickett (@family.pickett), the man began by saying: "What is it like living with a Cuban woman? She doesn't throw anything away, not even a gram of rice. If something is leftover, she gives it to the dog; I have to eat because she doesn't want to waste anything. Which is fine."

It also mentions that his wife has a penchant for shopping and is able to find everything at the popular store Temu.

However, what stands out the most is the admiration he feels for his partner, describing her as a woman with a big heart. "She loves well. I've never had a woman like her," he states, acknowledging that Cuban women are different and that if someone hasn't been fortunate enough to be with one, they definitely need to.

The video has amassed thousands of views and hundreds of comments, many of which are from users who feel identified or who have praised the characteristics it describes about Cuban women.

"You found a gold mine," "This man will be very happy," "The Cuban respects food because he truly knows what it is to go hungry and what the Cuban people go through; we don't wish hunger on anyone," "That's how we Cuban women are; since we were girls, we've been through a lot and we value all the little things," "How nice to hear a man talking so specially about his wife," or "Cuban women are on another level," are some of the reactions to this video.

In other videos uploaded to the account, the American tries to speak some basic words in Spanish.
