Eduardo Antonio explodes on social media after criticisms of his recent looks: "Cubans have style and glamour."

"I will continue screaming to the world that we Cubans are not a bunch of hungry people," the artist assured.

The latest looks that Eduardo Antonio has chosen for various social events have garnered praise among his loyal fans, but also countless criticisms and questions on social media.

El Divo de Placetas exploded on social media in response to those unpleasant criticisms and made his point of view very clear, emphasizing that in his choice of clothing there is a lot of style and glamour.

"I will keep shouting to the world that Cubans are not starving and we have style and glamour. What a pity about the unfortunate nature of so many negative comments coming from my own race, who still do not understand that artists have a style that is neither better nor worse, simply different from the rest of the world," wrote the singer.

To those who criticize him, he said emphatically: "That's where the controversy and admiration begin. How many men criticize me and have never in their lives worn a tuxedo with a bow tie or tie, and women who have never worn a corset, stockings, pantyhose, garters, an evening gown, and false eyelashes without knowing how to carry a handbag, and they talk to me about image consulting."

"But I understand the misinformation about how international fashion works, but it’s okay, I have always been a pioneer. What is today criticized and mocked will one day be history and something iconic that future generations will want to embrace. Thank God I am a Cuban, empowered, successful, and a true artist. I will keep shouting to the world that Cubans are not starving and we have style. They now have their international spokesperson with me," he added very confidently.

The climax of the criticisms came this weekend when Eduardo Antonio attended the birthday party of Cuban entrepreneur Jenisbel Acebedo in pure Met Gala style, wearing a veil and even a cape.

On Saturday, she also stole the spotlight at Ms. Dayana's wedding with a designer dress that was a complete visual scandal.

Last week, he arrived like a king at the Miss Universe Cuba gala wearing a floor-length shimmering cape.

However, that was not all; alongside all the candidates, she starred in one of her catwalks wearing a yellow dress with black polka dots and gold boots below the knees.
