A mannequin displayed in a store on Obispo Street in Havana has sparked mockery on social media.

The Tiendas Caribe Habana Vieja profile on Facebook shared the image of a peculiar mannequin with an egg-shaped head and a white cap, accompanied by a message directed at women, offering "options to look more beautiful."

In reality, the publication seeks to promote an offer of dyes in various colors, with a complete kit, including 10, 20, and 30 volume peroxide, and bleaching powder in pot and packet formats.

Next to the strange mannequin, the profile shared a promotion that was no less ironic: "From Obispo to look more beautiful."

The influencer Edmundo Dantés Junior shared the image on Facebook with an ironic message: "At the bottom of the sea, far from the sun, lived a little fish, who had no color," in reference to a popular children's animated show about a fish looking for colors for its tail.

In addition, he added: “Suffer mannequins from Camagüey,” referencing the controversial mannequins that were displayed in a store in that province in July, triggering a wave of mockery on social media.

On other occasions, the "creativity" in the advertisements has sparked a multitude of comments and memes on social media.

In 2023, some of the regime's initiatives to celebrate the birthday of the dictator Fidel Castro through its workplaces became a source of mockery.

One of these proposals took place at the commercial unit "El Billarista," belonging to the Caribe store chain in Villa Clara.
