Friends and colleagues of El Taiger called on Friday in Miami to unite in a prayer chain for the recovery of the Cuban reggaeton artist.
Several social media profiles are sharing this message: “To everyone who wants to join in prayer tonight at 8:00 p.m. at this address with a white candle to pray to God for the recovery of El Taiger.”
The meeting point is at the intersection of NW 17 ST and NW 9 AV, very close to where the singer was found last Thursday in the back of a car with a gunshot wound to the head.
The singer's own team launched this initiative to update on the health status of the reguetonero.
"José remains in critical condition. The doctors have moved him to a more secure room, and his room is being monitored by the police," they confirmed through the Instagram profile of El Taiger.
The reggaeton artist is on life support at Jackson Memorial Hospital in Miami, while the police continue investigating the incident, of which few details are known.
