Update on El Taiger: "José remains in critical condition"

The health status of El Taiger remains unchanged, according to the latest update shared by his team on the artist's Instagram profile.

“At this moment, José remains in critical condition. The doctors have transferred him to a more secure room, and his room is being monitored by the police, to whom we are deeply grateful for all their support,” reads one of the stories on that social media platform.

"Today at 8:00 p.m. we will hold a prayer chain with a white candle. Thank you all for your prayers. We have faith that it will get better soon," adds the text.

The Cuban reggaeton artist had to undergo emergency surgery after receiving a gunshot to the forehead that exited through the right side of his brain.

Sources close to the singer have said that he has severe brain damage and is on artificial respiration.

Regarding the incident, the police are continuing their investigation but have not wanted to reveal details of what happened.
