Miami police request public assistance in the investigation of the El Taiger incident.

The chief of police in Miami, Manuel Morales, said they would not reveal details of the incident to avoid jeopardizing the investigation.

The case of José Manuel Carvajal, El Taiger, who was shot in the head last Thursday and is in critical condition at Jackson Memorial Hospital, is still under investigation.

This Friday, the chief of police of Miami, Manuel Morales, addressed the press confirming that the singer was found on the morning of October 3 inside a car with a gunshot wound and was transferred to the trauma center of the hospital where he underwent surgery.

"At this time, what we are asking the public is if they have any information that could help us in this investigation, please call 305 579 6111, we need to find the root of this incident," Morales asked the press.

The police officer added that they would not reveal details of the incident as it is an ongoing investigation and added: “We do not have a description of any person we are looking for; our detectives are working with leads they may have until we get to the bottom of this incident.”

"Based on the severity of the individual's injuries, we always start the investigation assuming it is a crime," said Manuel Morales, and when asked if suicide was ruled out, the police chief emphasized that they have not ruled out any possibility.

"We do not want to jeopardize the integrity of the investigation," Morales stated in response to the refusal to answer questions about the incident: "If we identify that this was a crime, we want to arrest the individuals responsible, and we do not want to do anything that risks the investigation or if the case later goes to court."

At this moment, El Taiger is in an extremely critical condition. Carlos Alfaro, his representative, revealed that "he has significant brain damage and is breathing through machines. If they take the machines away, he is a vegetable; he is dead."

The reggaeton artist was shot in the forehead, with the bullet exiting the right side of the brain.
