Prayers for El Taiger have not only taken place in Miami, but dozens of Cubans in Havana have also joined in the prayers wishing for a swift recovery for the reggaeton artist.
Several Cuban artists like Mawell, El Charly, Johayron, and many fans gathered at La Cascada on 23rd and Malecón with their white candles to pray for the health of the singer, who has been in serious condition since last Thursday due to a gunshot wound to the head.
The moment when everyone present sang "La Historia" together was very emotional, one of the most iconic songs in the career of the Cuban reggaeton artist.
The solidarity and unity among Cubans has been evident amidst the difficulties that El Taiger is going through; personal grievances and criticisms of the reguetonero have been set aside, and there is a unanimous desire for his recovery.
The investigation into the El Taiger incident is still ongoing, and so far the police have not revealed any new details.
