The comedian Ulises Toirac questioned the attitude of many Cubans regarding recent events that have moved public opinion, such as the attack suffered by the reggaeton artist El Taiger in Miami.
Ulises confessed on his Facebook wall that what he reads on social media seems to him to be from another planet: a cold one, without soul or discernment, simplistic and dehumanized.
"If the average person thinks and expresses themselves that way, then they can put me in another drawer, because I operate at a different pace," he pointed out.
The comedian referred to the recent death of singer-songwriter Martha Valdés, the gunshot received by El Tiger, and the brain event suffered by singer Omara Portuondo in Barcelona, and regretted the effect they have had on the Cuban community online.
"They have unleashed the worst and the most demonstrative evidence that definitely something is not right with the Cubans. For this reason, it is not going to have an ending," he stated.
Toirac did not provide details about the texts he has read on the Internet that prompted his message.
So far, what has happened with El Taiger and his health condition has sparked a wave of solidarity and unity among Cubans both in Miami and on the Island.
