El Yonky starts to cry in the middle of the vigil for El Taiger in Miami.

The Yonky broke when, in the middle of the vigil, he heard Southwezzzt, the song he shared with El Taiger a year ago.

The reggaeton artist Alejandro Santoya -known by the stage name "El Yonky"- broke into tears this Friday during the vigil held in Miami to pray for the swift recovery of El Taiger, who is battling between life and death after being shot in the forehead.

Images shared on social media show how, amidst the Southwezzzt theme, which both collaborated on and was being chanted by those present, the reggaeton artist appeared broken and started to cry, visibly moved.

"He is alive," "Be strong, Alejandro," some said while Santoya could barely manage to chant his own song.

Chocolate MC also attended the vigil held near the hospital where El Taiger is fighting for his life after being shot in the head.

"Get up from that bed!" said Yosvanis Arismin Sierra Hernández as he lifted a candle he had just lit in his hands.

"He is going to get better," added Chocolate, as he proceeded to light a second candle, which he then placed on the ground amid applause and words of gratitude from those present for his gesture.

Since the news of the reggaeton artist's serious condition broke, many Cuban artists and fans have flooded social media with messages of support and wishing for a speedy recovery.

The case of El Taiger is still under investigation. The police have asked all citizens to contact the authorities if they have any information about the incident, but due to the ongoing investigation, they have refused to provide details about what happened.

Currently, the Cuban singer is in an extremely critical condition, with considerable brain damage and on artificial respiration.
