Cuban in Florida gives her best advice for getting ahead in the United States.

"If you don't have money to go out to eat every day, don't go out, don't waste your money."

A Cuban woman living in Florida, known on TikTok as maryaragon805 (and also @leidyoficial), shared some advice a few days ago on the platform for those looking to get ahead in the United States, and her words have sparked a lot of discussion.

His main advice is "don't compare yourself to others" because, as he exemplified in his video, he has seen people with luxuries like brand-new cars and designer clothes, but who are actually in debt and not living well: "I have seen many people full of gold with the latest car, brand-name clothes, and they live 4 or 5 in the same rental space, they are full of debt, and for me, I think that is not living," he added.

In addition, he warned about the trap of getting into debt by buying expensive cars: "There is no need to get into a loan. You can go with your little car just like those people." He also suggested not wasting money on unnecessary things and focusing on what really matters: continuing to study and training to find better opportunities in the future. His message is clear: "Do not stop improving yourself, study, learn, and seek a job that allows you to create your own business in the future."

In the debate sparked in the comments, some users supported his words, such as those who commented: "Wise words"; "Thanks for your good advice," "Completely agree," or "Very true." However, there were also those who did not entirely agree: "There is a need for a letter car, because many times it is not possible to gather 5,000 or 6,000 dollars for a cash car," said one defending the option of financing a vehicle.

And you, do you think any of these tips would have helped make your journey easier, or would your tips go in a different direction?

What do you think?
