Jorge Junior visits the place where Cubans pay tribute to El Taiger in Miami: "I am here"

Jorge Junior, the cousin of El Taiger, visits the improvised altar in Miami where fans pay tribute to the late Cuban reggaeton artist.

The renowned Cuban singer Jorge Junior, leader of the group Los 4, visited this Saturday the improvised altar in Miami where fans of the late reggaeton artist El Taiger have been paying tribute.

Jorge Junior, who traveled to the United States to collect his cousin's ashes and be the legal representative in all professional matters of El Taiger in the United States, was visibly moved during his visit to the street-level altar where fans pay tribute to the Tranka of Cuba.

"I'm here. Excuse me if I don't know what to say or what to do. It's just that this is very intense. Now we have to see how we're going to wake him. I'm here as his family member. Now we have to go through the legal processes, and things should move faster. Here, paper speaks, and we need to sort everything out as it is," said Jorge Junior.

He emphasized that it is very important for the people who were at some point close to El Taiger to know that there is now a family representative in the United States.

"I want everyone to know that I am here, in Miami. Do you understand? If any criteria need to be requested, if any decision needs to be made, I will reopen my Instagram and all of you will be witnesses. I am here," he said.

In his statements upon arriving in Miami last night, Jorge Junior said that he was the one who first brought El Taiger to the United States, and now he will be the one to take his ashes to Cuba.

"He is going with me to Havana. I brought him, I am taking him with me. He will be cremated and will be next to his mom in Cuba," he explained.

Jorge Junior and El Taiger are cousins and also had a professional relationship when they worked in Los 4. They went through difficult stages, but they had managed to overcome their differences and were in a great moment of fraternal relationship.

The death of El Taiger in Miami was confirmed on Thursday, after spending several days hospitalized at Jackson Memorial Hospital due to a gunshot wound to the head. The police investigation into this homicide case is ongoing.
