Rescuers save a piglet amid the floods caused by Milton in Florida.

They also rescued several goats and a donkey.

In the midst of the severe flooding caused by Hurricane Milton, U.S. rescuers saved Millie, a piglet that was trapped at a gas station in Lithia, Florida.

Along with Millie, several goats and a donkey were also rescued, CBS News reported.

This was not the only heroic rescue following Milton's passage, which swept through Florida as a powerful Category 3 hurricane on the Saffir-Simpson scale.

The U.S. Coast Guard rescued a man who was clinging to a cooler in the sea off Longboat Key, while another team rescued a 14-year-old boy who was floating on debris in Hillsborough.

Milton has claimed at least 12 lives in Florida.
