Chocolate MC responds to Alex Otaola for criticism following El Taiger's death: "I'm not a hypocrite, my friend has died."

"I'm not a hypocrite, I'm human," said Chocolate MC. The musician defends himself against criticism following the death of El Taiger in Miami.

The Cuban reggaeton artist Yosvanis Sierra, better known as Chocolate MC, has responded to the criticism he has received from influencer Alex Otaola and other social media users following the tragic death of fellow singer El Taiger.

In a strong message, the artist rejected the accusations of hypocrisy and expressed his pain over the loss of someone he considered, despite everything, his friend.

"There's a lack of empathy, of humanity, of Cuban spirit, a lack of everything. How can one not feel bad in a moment like this?" Chocolate began saying in a video posted on his social media.

"Just because you don't have feelings doesn't mean that I don't. Otaola, you are the hypocrite, who after so many things that happened, comes to talk about me," expressed the King of the Distribution.

Chocolate MC recalled that, despite the differences he may have had with El Taiger in the past, he always maintained respect for him and his family.

"The first thing I did when I got out of jail was to apologize to José (El Taiger) and his mother," the artist stated, emphasizing that he cannot be labeled a hypocrite for feeling the impact of the tragic news.

In his statement, Chocolate was clear in emphasizing that, although he is not a perfect man, one of his "great flaws" is not being hypocritical.

"I am human. Someone who had to do with me died, being my friend, my enemy, my colleague, whatever, they died, they were killed in a very ugly way," he stated.

El Taiger, whose real name was José Manuel Carbajal, was recently murdered, shocking the world of Cuban urban music. On the day his death was reported, fans of the artist gathered outside the hospital to pay tribute to him.

Among them was Chocolate MC, who brought flowers to the place, called for justice for El Taiger, and recorded footage that he will use in his new music video, “Desconfianza,” a song dedicated to the memory of José Manuel Carbajal.

Chocolate MC's words make it clear that, beyond any differences he may have had with the deceased singer, his death has profoundly affected him, and he has been emphatic in rejecting the criticisms that accuse him of insincerity in his mourning.
