Mawell pays tribute to El Taiger during his concert in Melena del Sur, moving his audience.

The Cuban singer Mawell surprised his audience during his concert in Melena del Sur this weekend by paying an emotional tribute to his colleague El Taiger, who passed away last week in Miami.

In the middle of his presentation, he played the song "El Sano" by El Taiger, prompting the attendees to sing the lyrics of the song, which has gained special relevance after the Cuban singer was shot in the head. The energy and emotion were palpable in the venue as those present sang El Taiger's song, one of the most influential figures in Cuban urban music.

"Tribute to @el_taiger in Melena del Sur. Thank you for so much love, closed due to capacity. Rest in Peace Mi Tranka. Your music will live on forever," wrote the singer of "Triple M" while sharing this moment from his show.

The interpretation of "El Sano" became one of the most memorable moments of the concert.

His followers also surrendered to Mawell for this beautiful gesture during a particularly sad moment for Cuban music, due to the death of José Manuel Carbajal, who passed away last Thursday at the age of 37.

"Thank you, Mawell, at each of your concerts a song by El Taiger will make his work immortal. Keep going strong, he opened many paths in the genre! Now it's your turn to pave the way to immortality," "A wonderful night in Melena del Sur, a tribute to the Tranka of my country, I had a great time and it was all thanks to you, Mawell," "Ufff, brother, you can feel the vibe @mawell_official1. Thank you for raising the feeling of a country high," or "Mawell was visibly moved from the very first moment. That boy didn't move from the fountain or the cathedral. This has made you great @mawell_official1," are some of the messages found alongside the video.
