A Cuban woman fulfills her daughter's dream by adopting a cat: "In the USA, the responsibility of having pets is different from Cuba."

A Cuban woman in the U.S. adopts a black kitten, fulfilling her daughter's dream and recalling her childhood in Cuba.

The Cuban Daiana Díaz (@daianadiaz2107) couldn't help but share her happiness on TikTok after fulfilling a dream for her daughter. In the video she posted on the social network, she recounted that as a child she had always wished to have her own animals but was not allowed to. That's why, when she became independent in Cuba, she surrounded herself with all kinds of animals, as she fondly remembered.

Now, in her life in the United States, she has decided to adopt a black kitten, fulfilling both her daughter's wish and her own. However, she explained that having pets in this country involves greater responsibility and many more expenses than in Cuba. "Everything is for the happiness of our children, and I also include my own because I love animals," she expressed in the video.

The Cuban mentioned that they still don't have a name for the kitten, but highlighted how precious she is and the love she will receive in her new home: "She has no idea of the love she is going to receive in this home. She is going to make my kids and me very happy." Despite the myths surrounding black cats, the woman assures that she does not believe in superstitions and that her new pet will bring a lot of happiness to the family.

"My son adopted a little kitten, and I am so happy, she is the spoiled one in the house. You won't regret it, they give us more than we give them," "I gave my daughters a cute little dog and it was the best thing I could have done," "I love pets, they nourish the soul, they make us better people," or "She looks a lot like my cat that I had to leave in Cuba when I came to this country," are some of the comments that this Cuban received.
