Five years ago, El Taiger started a kind of trend with one of his songs, and many fans began to wear a little red thread on their wrists.
After the reggaeton artist's passing on October 10, revisiting his music and big hits has become quite common on social media, and “El Hilito Rojo” with Dj Conds was no exception.
Un Martí To Durako recalled this popular song by the singer on his Instagram profile, and dozens of internet users reacted in the comments.
"That guy sang his story without knowing it, everything was in his lyrics, fly high José"; "The money made by those who sold little red threads. José was the real influencer, my friend"; "I even wore it in my stroller when I was a child"; "For sure, everyone was walking around with the little red thread"; "For years he wore the little red thread, my favorite song"; "Always, forever and ever José"; "The guy has so many songs that I had already forgotten about the little red thread"; "I feel like I won't be able to live without listening to his music and everything new he had for us"; "May he rest in peace and may his music live on," some wrote.
After his death, many recognize in the lyrics of this song aspects of his life that do not go unnoticed: "Dreaming wide awake, my grandmother told me that I had natural ashé but take care of mine / Because that gift you were given is for you to change your destiny, but the path is also made of bad things / I walk with a little red thread, for the bad tongues, for the evil eyes."
