A video on TikTok has revived El Taiger's first trip to the United States as part of Los Desiguales, the duo he formed with Damián after leaving the group Los 4.

In a video published on TikTok by the account @Cubanow01, fans of Cuban urban music have revived memories of El Taiger's first trip to the United States as part of the duo Los Desiguales.

This trip, which marked a milestone in the career of José Manuel Carbajal Zaldívar, better known as El Taiger, took place when the artist was only 26 years old and the duo was in full ascent within the Cuban music scene.

The shared video shows El Taiger alongside several companions and Damián, with whom he founded Los Desiguales after leaving the popular group Los 4, led by his cousin Jorge Jr.

This separation marked the beginning of a new musical project that would become one of the most successful duos with the greatest impact on the urban scene in Cuba. The unmistakable energy and style of both artists allowed them to quickly establish themselves as leaders of the genre, and they managed to win over a wide audience both in Cuba and abroad.

Among his most notable successes are songs like "De maravilla," "La contestadora," "No me calientes," and "Yo sigo aquí," which became anthems of Cuban reggaeton during that time. Interestingly, back then José Manuel was known as El Príncipe, a stage name that he would also use later as a solo artist.

The post has generated a wave of nostalgic comments among followers of Cuban reggaeton, who remember the golden age of the genre and the impact that Los Desiguales had on the island's urban music.

In addition, one of the most talked-about moments has been the phrase “El Príncipe was a trend, El Taiger a feeling LBMA,” which has sparked a debate about the significance of certain representatives of the genre during those years.

The trip to the United States was a key turning point in El Taiger's career, who would later embark on a solid solo career, establishing himself as one of the most recognized figures in the Cuban urban genre.

This journey into the past demonstrates how music has the ability to immortalize moments and mark generations, allowing fans to relive the memories of an era that defined the course of urban music in Cuba.

The video has accumulated thousands of views and comments filled with nostalgia and admiration for that time when urban genres were beginning to take off in Cuba and gain international ground.

Fans have fondly remembered the songs that marked a generation and the moments experienced during the concerts of Los Desiguales.
